Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Site Agent to join our team on a permanent basis for our UK projects, including roads, bridges and water treatment facilities. You will travel and stay away during the week to oversee on-site activities and ensure delivery to programme.

The role requires a Civil Engineering qualification (or equivalent), 6+ years of site experience, strong IT skills, and excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) and vocational training in Construction / Engineering.
• 6+ years of site experience.
• IT skills including MS Office.
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
• Strong Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and evaluations.
• Develop project plans and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support construction delivery to achieve project goals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

We require a Site Agent to join our team on a permanent basis.

We have projects across the UK ranging from roads & highway upgrades, bridges, water treatment plants etc.

Candidates that are interested in this role must be able to travel and stay away throughout the week.

Daily tasks include conducting site inspections and evaluations, developing project plans, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, providing technical expertise and supporting the contractor in construction delivery to ensure project goals are achieved.

The role also involves regular communication and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of projects.
