Job summary

BMDIs UK, part of the BMD Group, invites applications for a Site Engineer to join our infrastructure division in the UK. The role covers communication with stakeholders, coordinating subcontractors, and delivering works on site across road, bridges, and water projects.

You will set out works to tolerance, assist in producing as-built drawings, and maintain safety and quality records. Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering and site experience are required, with IT skills including MS Office and

• IT skills including MS Office.
• Willingness to travel and stay away during the week.

Responsibilities

• Regular communication and reporting to multiple stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution and coordination of subcontractors.
• Assist in providing engineering support to overcome technical problems and answer queries.
• Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and recording and testing workmanship and materials.
• Assist in maintaining safety and quality documentation and registers.

We require a Site Engineer to join our team on a permanent basis.

We have projects across the UK ranging from roads & highway upgrades, bridges, water treatment plants etc.

Candidates that are interested in this role must be able to travel and stay away throughout the week.

Job Summary and role description:

• Regular communication and reporting to multiple stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of projects, including coordination of subcontractors.
• Assist in providing engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries are answered.
• Responsible for setting out works constructed within allowable tolerances.
• Assist in the preparation of 'as-built drawings' and recording and testing of workmanship and materials.
• Assist in maintaining registers and ensuring safety and quality documentation.
• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• site experience, including setting out and reinforced concrete
• Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practice.
• IT skills including MS Office

Desirable:

• CSCS, SMSTS, TWS or TWC
