Job summary

BMD Group UK is seeking a Site Agent to join our civil engineering and construction team on a permanent basis. The role involves leading site delivery across projects in the UK, with travel and overnight stays required throughout the week.

You will conduct inspections, develop plans, and coordinate with stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree level/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) and vocational training in Construction/Engineering.
• 6+ years of site experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and evaluations to assess progress and quality.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and construction methodologies.
• Prepare reports and documentation for stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards on site.
• Provide technical expertise and support to the contractor during delivery to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and timely decisions.

We require a Site Agent to join our team on a permanent basis.

We have projects across the UK ranging from roads & highway upgrades, bridges, water treatment plants etc.

Candidates that are interested in this role must be able to travel and stay away throughout the week.

Daily tasks include conducting site inspections and evaluations, developing project plans, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, providing technical expertise and supporting the contractor in construction delivery to ensure project goals are achieved.

The role also involves regular communication and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of projects

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) and vocational training in Construction / Engineering
• 6+ years of site experience
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Strong Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills
