Job summary

BMD Group is seeking a Sub Agent to join our UK infrastructure team on a permanent basis. You will conduct site inspections, develop project plans, prepare reports, and support construction delivery across roads, bridges and water projects.

The role requires a civil engineering qualification (degree/HNC/HND), strong IT and communication skills, and a proactive problem-solving mindset. Beneficial certifications include CSCS, SMSTS/IOSH, and BIM/digital tooling.

Qualifications

• Must have degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent; vocational training in construction/engineering.
• Proficient IT skills including MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and evaluations.

We require a Sub Agent to join our team on a permanent basis. We have projects across the UK ranging from roads & highway upgrades, bridges, water treatment plants etc.

Job Summary and role description

Daily tasks include conducting site inspections and evaluations, developing project plans, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, providing technical expertise and supporting the contractor in construction delivery to ensure project goals are achieved.

Qualifications and Experience

• Essential
  • Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) and vocational training in Construction / Engineering
  • IT skills including MS Office
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
  • Strong Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills
• Desirable

  • BIM / Digital including Autodesk and /or Bentley
