Job summary

BMD Group, with projects across the UK, seeks a Site Agent to lead civil and infrastructure delivery on permanent basis. The role requires travelling and staying away throughout the week to coordinate with contractors and stakeholders.

Daily duties include site inspections, planning, reporting and ensuring regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will bring a civil engineering background, extensive site experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Degree level/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience and vocational training in Construction/Engineering.
• 6+ years of site experience.
• IT skills including MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections and evaluations.
• Develop project plans and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Provide technical expertise and support the contractor in construction delivery.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for seamless project execution.

We require a Site Agent to join our team on a permanent basis.

We have projects across the UK ranging from roads & highway upgrades, bridges, water treatment plants etc.

Candidates that are interested in this role must be able to travel and stay away throughout the week.

Daily tasks include conducting site inspections and evaluations, developing project plans, preparing reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, providing technical expertise and supporting the contractor in construction delivery to ensure project goals are achieved.

The role also involves regular communication and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless execution of projects

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

• Degree level/HNC/HND qualification in a Civil Engineering (or equivalent experience) and vocational training in Construction / Engineering
• 6+ years of site experience
• IT skills including MS Office
• Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
• Strong Problem-Solving and Decision-Making skills

Desirable

• CSCS
• SMSTS / IOSH
