SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, collaborating with technical experts committed to impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting senior technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data
• Coordinating with Telent Service Centre for tasks and updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician role is ideal for those with experience in similar roles or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Knowledge of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre
