SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and drive solutions, working with technical experts to make a significant impact. Be part of a high-performing team maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working permanent nights from our Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town, from 10pm to 6am, Sunday to Thursday.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attending maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting faults.
• Using field IT equipment for maintenance data.
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for task updates.

Ideal candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Willingness to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre.
