Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 (On-site) in London, United Kingdom

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working alongside technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is a permanent night shift, from Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist senior technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Conduct planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance
• Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multi-task and are eager to learn. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Willingness to work nights from Pirin Court Service Centre
