Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a team doing complex work that helps build and maintain the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent night shifts, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Responsibilities:

• Assist qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attend planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintain SISS assets and ensure station communication faults are reported and resolved
• Use field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for task updates and completions

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role is suitable for hands-on individuals who enjoy multi-tasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician will benefit from experience in similar roles or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Availability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
