Job Description:

SISS Station Systems Technician - Level 4 in London, United Kingdom (On-site)

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts. Be part of a high-performing team responsible for building and maintaining the nation's critical infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance and assist with reactive maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role is permanent nights, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am, based at Pirin Court Depot near Canning Town.

Station System Technician responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians in fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
• Attending planned, remedial, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting/station communication faults
• Using field IT equipment for real-time maintenance data
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking and fault updates

Who you are:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. The Level 4 Technician role is ideal if you have experience in a similar role or understand Network Rail health & safety procedures.

Key requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to work nights at Pirin Court Service Centre, Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am
