The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice in Glasgow is seeking a Shop Manager for our Thornliebank store. This role is 22.5 hours per week with a salary of £15,208 per annum. You will lead volunteers, maximise sales and ensure a welcoming shopping environment.

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is a well-established charity located within Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. The hospice provides specialist palliative care for people with a life-limiting, progressive illness, and support for their families and carers.

The Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Shop Manager to help lead our retail store in Thornliebank. This is more than just a retail role. It's an opportunity to inspire volunteers, delight customers, and drive sales that directly support outstanding hospice care for local patients and their families.

About the Role

As Shop Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the shop, maximising sales and profitability, and ensuring an excellent experience for customers and donors alike. You will lead and support a dedicated team of volunteers, helping to create a welcoming and successful retail environment.

  • Delivering exceptional customer service
  • Managing cash handling and banking procedures
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety and retail procedures

About You

We are looking for someone who has:

Experience in charity retail would be advantageous but is not essential.
