Job summary

Greggs in England is looking for a proactive Shift Manager to run the shop when the Manager isn't present, guiding the team to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain store standards across all channels.

As part of the management team, you’ll oversee daily operations, prepare products, manage ovens, keep displays stocked and shop floor clean, and support an inclusive culture where colleagues feel valued and motivated to excel.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a customer-facing team.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable, proactive and customer-focused.
• Experience in fast-paced retail environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shop in the Manager's absence and maintain store standards.
• Inspire and manage the team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Oversee food preparation and oven management.
• Ensure displays are stocked and the shop floor is clean and presentable.
