Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Shift Manager to lead and support the shop team when the Store Manager isn’t on site. You’ll engage and motivate colleagues, ensuring they have what they need to deliver an outstanding customer experience across in-shop, delivery, Click + Collect and drive-thru channels.

You will oversee shifts, supervise staff, and be responsible for product preparation, oven management and maintaining clean, well-stocked displays.

Qualifications

• Experience in supervisory or team-lead roles in customer-focused environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to motivate a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver excellent results and maintain shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast, friendly manner.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and oven management.
• Keep displays well stocked with a wide range of items.
• Ensure the shop is clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
