Job summary

Greggs plc is seeking a Shift Manager to lead a shop in the absence of the Manager, inspiring the team and ensuring a brilliant customer experience across in-store, delivery, Click + Collect and drive-thru channels.

You will supervise shifts, prepare products, keep displays stocked, and maintain a clean, presentable shop while delivering exceptional service and fostering an inclusive culture.

Qualifications

• Previous team supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
• Experience in cafe/retail operations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop.
• Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens.
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable.
• You’ll be reliable and demonstrate natural leadership abilities, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Support an inclusive culture and recognise that difference is good.
