CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a Shift Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Days Only) for a premier central London office building. You will perform hands-on maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems, including HVAC, chillers, pumps, AHUs, and building plant, in a fast-paced environment.

Working 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, Days Only on a Panama Shift, you’ll ensure system reliability, maintain records, and support ongoing excellence.

Qualifications

• Must hold a formal Mechanical Engineering Level 3 certification.
• Proven experience in commercial building maintenance, ideally in critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works efficiently via the maintenance system.
• Carry out hands-on maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems.
• Diagnose and resolve plant faults quickly to minimise downtime.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, and job sheets.

Mechanical Engineer (Days Only) – FM Service Provider – Blackfriars, Central London – £53,000 per annum

A leading facilities management service provider is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join a prestigious, high-spec commercial office building in the heart of the City of London.

This modern, multi-tenant development offers state-of-the-art infrastructure and is ideally located near major financial institutions and excellent transport links. This is a hands-on engineering role, ideal for a technically strong engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, critical environment. You will be fully involved in day-to-day engineering tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of all building services.

Working Hours

7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

(Days Only - 2s & 3s) Panama Shift

Key Responsibilities

• - Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive works efficiently via the maintenance system
• - Carry out hands-on maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems
• - Diagnose and resolve plant faults quickly to minimise downtime
• - Conduct regular quality checks on work, documentation, and housekeeping standards
• - Ensure availability of critical spare parts
• - Maintain accurate records, reports, and job sheets

Requirements

• - Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (recognised certification) Level 3 Required
• - Proven experience in commercial building maintenance, ideally within critical environments (e.g. banking, corporate, or blue-chip sites)
• - Strong mechanical knowledge with multi-skilled capabilities
• - Experience working with HVAC, chillers, pumps, AHUs, and building plant systems
