PRS in Mayfair is seeking a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management team on a prestigious commercial office site. You will be responsible for daily and preventative maintenance of mechanical systems during daytime shifts.

The role offers a competitive salary of £49,500 with overtime, a 1-in-4 on-call rota, and opportunities for training, career progression, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds Mechanical Qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical building maintenance within commercial premises.
• Experience in shift-based engineering roles and on-call rota.

Responsabilités

• Perform daily PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Attend and resolve emergency callouts within KPIs and SLAs.
• Maintain mechanical plant and equipment to high standards.
• Carry out plumbing, pipework repairs and minor fabric tasks as needed.
• Manage tools, materials and parts for maintenance activities.
• Supervise subcontractors and ensure work quality and compliance.
• Support Lead Engineer and Account Manager with statutory compliance.
• Ensure maintenance schedules and operational targets are met.

We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management provider at a prestigious commercial office site in the heart of Mayfair. Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and high-quality maintenance of all mechanical systems on-site. Working as part of a dedicated maintenance team, your responsibilities will cover both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repair tasks across the facility.
