Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in London is seeking a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to join a Mayfair-based commercial building team. You will perform mechanical, electrical and fabric maintenance as part of a 4-person on-site crew, with focus on reliability and safety.

The role offers progression, training opportunities and a salary of £49,000, with overtime available and cycle-to-work schemes to support sustainable commuting.

Qualifications

• Mechanically qualified level 2 minimum.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates (Essential).
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Must be able to get to site for 07:00am start.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant, including Pumps, Motors, Seals and Bearings.
• Oversee Air Conditioning - AHU/FCU, filter changes and cleaning.
• Carry out plumbing tasks such as unblocking toilets and replacing taps.
• Monitor BMS systems and general building fabric.
• Report faults and issues to site management promptly.
• Maintain safety and site communications with client staff.

Mechanical Day Shift Engineer - FM Service Provider- Commercial Building - Mayfair, London - £49,000

CBW is currently recruiting for a Mechanical Day Shift Engineer to cover a commercial building located in Mayfair, London. The successful candidate will be qualified mechanically and will have a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. Working with the maintenance team on site (Team of 4) He or she will be required to carry out electrical, mechanical and fabric maintenance to the following. In return, the company is paying a competitive salary of £49,000, further training and career progression.

Hours of Work & Package Information

• 4 on 4 off, 6 on 4 off 4 on 6 off - 07:00 am to 19:00 pm
• £49,000 per annum

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor mechanical plant
• Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)
• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers etc
• Monitor the BMS systems
• General building fabric
• Undertake all allocated tasks and perform them in a timely and professional manner.
• Be proactive in identifying and reporting faults with building services equipment and take steps to resolve them.
• Be proactive to ensure all H&S issues are reported/escalated as required.
• Maintain informal communications with Client staff members related to service levels and issues.
• Report service affecting issued to the site management team for formal communication with the client.
• Remain flexible with regard to site attendance and tasks undertaken within personal competency.
• Be fully aware of relevant Health and Safety and general legislative matters.
