CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking a skilled Day Shift Maintenance Engineer for a prestigious Kensington estate in London. You will perform electrical and mechanical PPMs and responsive maintenance, ensuring compliance with all statutory and operational standards.

Working across HVAC, fire safety, and water treatment systems, you will collaborate with a small team to deliver exceptional service in a high-profile corporate environment.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained in building services or equivalent.
• DBS Clearance is required.
• Client-facing experience preferred.
• Commercial building maintenance experience essential.
• Familiar with FCUs/AHUs and chillers.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrical and Mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and standards.
• Maintain HVAC plant, fire alarms, emergency lighting, water treatment, air conditioning and chillers.
• Work with three-phase and single-phase systems, BMS, and monitoring systems.
• Maintain pumps, motors, VSDs and other critical mechanical equipment.
• Provide high-quality maintenance support in a premium corporate office environment.

Day Shift Maintenance Engineer – Kensington, London - £50,000 (Basic) + £5,000 Shift Allowance (Total Package £55,000)

We have a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Electrical or Mechanical Day Shift Maintenance Engineers to join a leading maintenance company in the heart of Kensington, London. This position involves working at a prestigious event space/building for a renowned property management company, ensuring the smooth running of high-profile estate. You will be responsible for carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs), reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and general building maintenance tasks.

Hours:

Shift Pattern to be decided - either 4 on 4 off, or Continental Day shift:

• Days: 07:00 AM – 19:00 PM

• 2 x Electrical & Mechanical Day Shift Engineers

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Electrical and Mechanical PPMs and reactive maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all systems are in compliance with statutory requirements and operational standards.
• Carry out maintenance on key systems, including HVAC plant, fire alarms, emergency lighting, water treatment, air conditioning, and chillers.
• Work with three-phase and single-phase electrical systems, Building Management Systems (BMS), and electrical monitoring systems.
• Maintain pumps, motors, Variable Speed Drives, and other critical mechanical systems.
• Provide top-tier maintenance support within a high-profile corporate office environment.
• Collaborate with a small team to deliver exceptional service to the client.

Requirements:

• Apprentice-trained and experienced in building services.
• City & Guilds Level 2 & 3 in Electrical (or equivalent).
• Must hold the 17th/18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations.
• DBS Clearance
• Client-facing experience is preferred.
• Commercial building maintenance experience is a must.
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical systems like FCUs (Fan Coil Units), AHUs (Air Handling Units), and chillers.
