Job summary

Greggs PLC is seeking a Shift Manager to oversee the shop when the Manager isn’t around. You will lead a team, ensure excellent customer service across in-store and online channels, and keep the shop running smoothly during each shift.

You will prepare products, manage ovens, maintain displays, and drive a positive, fast, friendly service culture. Previous supervisory experience in a similar environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
• Reliable with natural leadership abilities.
• Availability in line with shift requirements.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to maintain excellent shop standards.
• Lead by example, serving customers quickly and kindly.
• Prepare products, including sandwiches and ovens management.
• Keep displays stocked and the shop tidy at all times.
• Ensure smooth shop operation when the Manager is away.
