Job summary

Greggs PLC is seeking a Shift Manager to lead the shop in the Manager’s absence and to motivate the team. You’ll ensure fast, friendly service across in-store, delivery, Click+Collect and online orders, while managing shifts, stock, and displays.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining high standards, training the team, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Reliable with leadership abilities and customer focus.
• Supportive of an inclusive culture and valuing differences.
• Previous supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspire the team to deliver amazing results while maintaining shop standards.
• Lead by example and serve customers in a fast and friendly manner.
• Prepare our products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens.
• Ensure our displays are fully stocked with plenty of choice for customers.
• Keep the shop clean, tidy and presentable.
