2 Sisters Food Group in Scunthorpe is looking to recruit an experienced and dynamic Shift Manager to support our operations management team within our Fresh Portions department.

About The Role

Reporting to the Factory Manager, you will support the smooth running of operations across a busy fresh meat production facility. As one of two Shift Managers you will have 5 direct reports (First Line Managers), 13 indirect reports (Team Leaders) along with production staff.

You will take ownership of production line output across various lines in the cutting operation, ensuring each line operates efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, support, and develop your team to meet daily KPIs, production targets and customer expectations.
  • Always ensure adherence to World Class Manufacturing Practices and quality standards.
  • Maintain strong line discipline and follow specific packing and production plans – no overpacking, no deviations.
  • Drive productivity and morale while maintaining staff welfare and safety.
  • Take ownership of the training, coaching, and development of your team.

About You

It’s essential that you have experience in an FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment along with demonstrable experience of leading and motivating a team.

You will hold IOSH Managing Safety Certification and level 3 food safety.
