Job summary

Five Guys Bournemouth is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead shifts, coach teams and drive restaurant performance. You will work with the General Manager to deliver great burgers, manage costs, and foster a fun, customer‑focused culture.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of management experience in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Proven track record in driving customer satisfaction scores and Mystery Shopper results.
• Experience assisting with P&L management, labour costs and inventory/waste control.
• Solid understanding of Food Safety and Health & Safety standards.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead Shift Managers and Crew on the line and dining area.
• Support the General Manager in delivering perfect burgers and fries, store results and guest experience.
• Create an engaging working environment where people are happy to come to work and align with Five Guys values.
• Ensure every customer is delighted with orders and the Five Guys experience; handle complaints promptly.
• Own shift operations, drive sales and manage costs while maintaining long-term plans.
• Spot, develop and retain talent for a strong pipeline.
