Tesco PLC is seeking a Shift Lead to help run our store operations in the United Kingdom. You will lead a team to deliver an outstanding in-store experience, coordinate across departments, and be the go-to person for daily operational queries.

You will foster an inclusive, high-performing team and step in as needed when the store manager is absent. Role offers flexible working hours within scheduled availability, with a guaranteed minimum; candidates must be 18 or over and committed to

Responsibilities

• Leading the team to deliver a great experience for customers in-store.
• Working across all areas of the store and with all colleagues, being the go-to person for day-to-day operational queries.
• Building positive, inclusive relationships that help colleagues perform at their best.
• Confidently leading the store in the Manager's absence.
• Making balanced, flexible decisions and adapting well to change.
• Coaching colleagues, giving feedback and role modelling great service.
• Staying curious and seeking opportunities to serve our customers, communities, and planet a little better every day.
• Experience working in a team lead or management position in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Be a strong role model with a passion for delivering great service and ensuring every customer's needs are met.
