One Stop Stores Ltd is seeking a Shift Leader to join our team. In this fast-paced retail role you will run duty shifts, coordinate a team and ensure a clean, fully stocked store that delights customers.

You will focus on coaching colleagues, improving service, and delivering practical actions to boost store performance. You will be a go-to person for day-to-day queries and uphold health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced retail environment with customer focus.
• Proven ability to lead a small team during duty shifts.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver the easiest shopping trip in the community.
• Open/close the store and complete duty cover, ensuring decisions are right for customers and safety.
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager for day-to-day queries.
• Support the Store Manager to coordinate seasonal, community and charity events, creating a great inclusive atmosphere.
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well presented.
• Prioritise replenishment of products that matter to customers.
• Take action for any overcharges and prevent reoccurrence.
• Proactively manage queues in store to deliver a great shopping trip for customers.
• Coordinate colleagues to meet daily priorities and manage breaks around trade patterns.
• Follow health and safety routines and ensure colleagues do the same.
• Deliver communication to the team and keep them informed.
