Job summary

One Stop Stores Ltd in the UK seeks a Shift Leader to support daily operations and deliver outstanding customer service. You will coordinate colleagues, manage store opening/closing, and ensure safety, cleanliness and stock presentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the team to deliver smooth store operations
• Open/close the store and cover duties when needed
• Be the go-to person for colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager
• Support the Store Manager with events and community initiatives
• Ensure the store is clean, tidy, and well presented
• Prioritise replenishment of key products and maintain shelf presentation
• Address overcharges and prevent recurrences
• Manage queues and balance service with efficiency
• Coordinate breaks and shift coverage to match trade patterns
• Act on store issues and escalations when required
• Ensure adequate staffing and security as a Keyholder
• Communicate effectively to keep the team informed
• Identify and implement process improvements for better service
• Always put customers first and resolve queries promptly
• Recognise good service and support colleagues in delivering excellence
• Foster an inclusive workplace aligned with One Stop values
• Co-ordinate with Area Manager & People Partner for timely coaching
