A global fast-food chain in North Kesteven is seeking a Shift Leader for its Development Programme. This training position focuses on developing management skills over six months, providing hands-on training and oversight. Responsibilities include leading a team of over 100 employees, maintaining quality standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. The role offers a starting hourly rate of £13, increasing to £14 after training, with additional pay for overnight shifts. Benefits include holiday pay, a pension scheme, and employee discounts.
You will be responsible for ensuring all shift work requirements are met, including production, productivity, quality and customer service standards. You will monitor operations, reallocate resources and solve operational problems while managing a team of 100 or more employees in a multi‑million dollar restaurant.
This is a training position designed to develop you into a Shift Manager through a structured six‑month development programme. You will receive hands‑on training alongside experienced managers, supported by in‑store learning, external training days, formal courses and regular check‑ins with senior management.
Starting hourly rate: £13. Once fully trained and qualified, the pay will increase to £14. Hours worked between 12:00‑6:00 AM receive an additional £2 per hour. Standard shifts include breakfast, evenings and overnights (if trading 24 hrs).
