Job summary

Company Shop Group is seeking a Shift Lead for our Darlington store. You will oversee day-to-day operations, lead on-shift colleagues, and ensure a positive member experience while meeting store standards.

This role requires supervising a retail team, managing daily activities such as replenishment, cash handling, and safety compliance. Food Safety Level 1 is preferred or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Experience of supervising or leading a retail team.
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day retail operations.
• Willingness to obtain Food Safety Level 1 if not already held.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift to ensure store opens/closes and delivers targets.
• Maintain high standards and deliver strong member experience.
• Ensure health & safety and food safety policies are followed.
• Collaborate with other shifts to cover schedules.
