Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is looking for a Team Support Manager to lead the fill operation and ensure the sales floor is ready to trade each day. You will coordinate resources and supervise the team in the absence of the Colleague Manager, ensuring a fast and smooth shopping experience for customers.

You will coach colleagues on efficient processes, drive productivity for store openings, and maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment while handling opening/closing duties as a key holder.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a busy retail environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate resources and manage store operations.
• Familiarity with cash handling and opening/closing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation and ensure a ready-to-trade salesfloor.
• Coordinate resource to deliver operational tasks during fill and in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Coach colleagues on One Best Way and drive productivity for store opening.
• Allocate resources to deliver a quick payment experience.
• Ensure daily operational processes are implemented efficiently across the area.
• Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Foster an inclusive team atmosphere and role-model customer service.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to drive high performance.
• Be a key holder and respond to call outs; manage opening/closing tasks, cash handling and related duties.
