Job summary

B&Q Basildon is seeking a Shift Lead to help run daily store operations with safety and reliability. You will oversee your shift to ensure a great customer and colleague experience and help the store meet its goals.

The role requires supporting either store opening or closing with early starts as 5am or late finishes around 11pm, depending on business needs. A Permanent contract and part-time hours are offered.

Responsibilities

• Be the heartbeat of the store day-to-day and ensure operations are running smoothly.
• Make sure colleagues are deployed correctly to 'make every customer count' throughout your shift.
• Be the first point of contact for customers and colleagues.
• Make sure our stores are safe at all times.
