Job summary

Marks and Spencer is seeking a Team Support Manager for a full-time shift lead position. You will lead the fill operation, coordinate resources, and drive productivity to ensure the store opens ready for trading.

The role requires strong customer service and frontline leadership to maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment. You will work closely with Colleague Managers, model M&S behaviours, and support nearby stores when required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a retail store.

• Ability to manage opening and closing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation and ensure the store is ready to trade.
• Coordinate resource to deliver operational tasks during the fill cycle.
• Lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager and drive productivity for store opening.
• Allocate resources to deliver a quick payment experience for customers.
• Ensure daily operations run efficiently across the area at the correct times.
• Coordinate the team to maintain a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Foster a positive, inclusive team atmosphere and model M&S behaviours.
• Support Colleague Managers with observations to deliver high performance.
