Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc in the United Kingdom is seeking a Team Support Manager to lead the fill operation, ensuring a salesfloor ready to trade and coordinating resources to Serve, Sell and Fill. You will oversee daily flow of tasks, coach colleagues on best practice, and safeguard a clean, safe, well-presented store.

This frontline role requires hands-on leadership and a willingness to roll up sleeves. You will support Colleague Managers, respond to opening/closing duties, and be ready to assist

Qualifications

• Experience in shop floor operations.
• Ability to coordinate resources during fill operations.
• Strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation and ensure a sales floor ready to trade.
• Coordinate resources to deliver operational tasks during fill periods and in absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Coach colleagues on One Best Way and drive productivity for store readiness.
• Allocate resources to deliver a quick payment experience.
• Ensure daily operational processes are implemented efficiently across the area of the store at the correct times.
• Coordinate the team to maintain a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Foster an inclusive team atmosphere and role model customer service and M&S behaviours.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to deliver high performance and recognise great colleagues.
• Be prepared to support nearby stores if required operationally.
• Responsible for opening/closing tasks including cash handling and building access during peripheral hours.
