Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is seeking a Team Support Manager to lead the store fill operation and coordinate resources to ensure the sales floor is ready to trade. You will be responsible for coaching colleagues, maintaining service standards, and supporting the Colleague Managers during peak periods.

As a frontline role, you will manage opening/closing tasks, ensure safety and presentation, and help neighbouring stores when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fill operation, coaching colleagues on One Best Way and driving productivity for store opening.
• Coordinate resource to deliver operational tasks during fill times and in the absence of the Colleague Manager.
• Allocate resource effectively to deliver quick payment experiences.
• Ensure daily operational processes are implemented efficiently across the area at the correct times.
• Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Foster a great team atmosphere inclusive of everyone and role‑model customer service and M&S behaviours.
• Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to drive high performance and recognize colleagues.
• Assist nearby stores if required for operational needs.
• Be a key holder and respond to call-outs as needed.
• Handle opening/closing tasks including vehicle receipt, temperature controls, issue logging with Helpdesks, cash handling and TSL compliance in peripheral hours.
