A recruitment company is seeking a Sheltered Housing Scheme Advisor in London to support residents over 55 in living independently. The role involves managing a scheme of 31 apartments, providing advice on rent arrears, and conducting daily wellbeing checks. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and experience within the housing sector. An Enhanced DBS check is a requirement. Overview

BDS Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Sheltered Housing Scheme Advisor in Pinner.

Hours- 20 hours per week - Monday to Friday 9.00am - 1pm- but start and finish time can be flexible.

This role is temporary ongoing in the first instance to start asap

Payrate: £15.49 PAYE or circa £19.68 UMBRELLA

The Role
  • To ensure residents over 55 are able to live independently within sheltered and general housing using assistive technology.
  • Managing a scheme of 31 apartments.
  • To provide advice on low level rent arrears and liaise with the Income team.
  • To carry out tenant daily wellbeing calls and checks based on assessed risk that promotes independence.
  • Offering advice and guidance to residents to help them remain indepedent
About you
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Experience of building checks and repairs reporting
  • Experince in social and/or supported housing
