Prospero Teaching is seeking a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties at a specialist school in Knowle, Solihull. You will help pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build independence in a safe, nurturing setting.

You will provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support, assist with personal care where required, follow individual plans, work with teachers and the SENCO, and promote positive behaviour and inclusion to help pupils

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND, ideally severe learning difficulties.
• Patience, empathy and a nurturing approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Confident supporting pupils with complex learning and care needs.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Willing to undertake relevant training.

We are seeking a caring, patient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a specialist school setting in Knowle, Solihull, supporting pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD).

This is a rewarding opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will help pupils access learning, develop communication skills and build independence in a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment.

The Role:

• Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support for pupils with severe learning difficulties.

• Assist with personal care and daily living activities where required, maintaining pupils dignity and promoting independence.


• Support pupils with sensory needs and complex needs, following individual support plans.
