Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Specialist SLD Teacher to work in Solihull with children and young people on EHCPs for SLD and PMLD. The role involves delivering personalised, engaging lessons and tailoring approaches to each pupil's needs.

You will plan targeted interventions, support communication and social skills, and collaborate with assistants, therapists and families to provide a safe, inclusive learning environment where progress is monitored and EHCP outcomes are met.

Qualifications

Working pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week

Prospero are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Teacher to work with children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

The successful candidate will support pupils with complex learning needs, delivering personalised, engaging and inclusive learning experiences tailored to each child's individual abilities, needs and EHCP outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SLD and PMLD.
• Implement individual education plans and EHCP targets.
• Support pupils' communication, sensory development, independence and social skills.

Requirements:
