Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Specialist SLD Teacher to join our Solihull school setting. You will work with pupils with SLD and PMLD, delivering personalised lessons aligned to EHCP targets and outcomes.

Based in Solihull, this full-time role focuses on creating inclusive, engaging learning experiences, collaborating with TAs, families and therapists to support communication, independence and social skills while tracking progress and adjusting strategies as required.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

Specialist SLD Teacher Solihull

Location: Solihull, West Midlands

Working pattern: Full-time, 5 days per week

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Specialist Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) Teacher to work with children and young people with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

The successful candidate will support pupils with complex learning needs, delivering personalised, engaging and inclusive learning experiences tailored to each child's individual abilities, needs and EHCP outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SLD and PMLD.
• Implement individual education plans and EHCP targets.
• Support pupils' communication, sensory development, independence and social skills.

Requirements
