Job summary

ZEISS Group is seeking a Service Operations Support to ensure efficient day-to-day service operations administration in Cambourne. You will handle customs documentation, import records, and liaise with couriers to resolve issues for the field service team.

The role involves calibration logistics, stock reporting for engineers, and providing ad-hoc support during busy periods. Strong MS Office and SAP ERP experience are preferred, with a proactive, organized mindset and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• MS Office experience required.
• Self-motivated, well-organised and able to work independently.
• Confident telephone manner and good communication skills.
• Customer focused, collaborative and results-driven.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile C79 certificates and Postponed VAT statements with supporting documents (C88, invoice).
• Contact delivery firms and customs brokers to obtain missing docs and advise on amendments.
• Manage import records, ensure correct importer of record and VAT allocation.
• Handle calibration logistics with ZEISS and 3rd party suppliers, quotes, POs and inbound tracking.
• Produce monthly stock reports for engineers and support field service.
