Perfect Placement UK Ltd seeks a Vehicle Service Manager for a multi-franchise dealership in Chippenham. This senior aftersales role reports to the Director and focuses on running an efficient, profitable, customer‑facing service operation with about eight technicians and a small team.

The role offers a negotiable basic salary plus monthly bonuses with on‑target earnings around £50,000 per year, a personal company car, 30 days leave, pension and ongoing manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Recent or current experience as a Service Manager or Aftersales Manager within a medium to large franchise-approved car dealership.
• Strong people-management and communication skills.
• Proactive, commercially focused approach to improving customer satisfaction.
• Good IT literacy and ability to work with dealership systems.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Chippenham.

Responsabilités

• The Vehicle Service Manager will lead and support approximately eight Vehicle Technicians, four Service Advisors, one Workshop Controller and one Parts Advisor.
• Manage the daily operation of the service department, maximising workshop efficiency and labour sales.
• Maintain high standards of customer satisfaction and ensure an excellent aftersales experience.
• Monitor departmental performance, implement improvements and protect our reputation.
• Work proactively with colleagues and senior management to achieve business objectives.

We are recruiting a Vehicle Service Manager to join our multi-franchise approved car dealership in Chippenham. This is a senior aftersales opportunity offering a negotiable basic salary, performance-related bonuses and uncapped on-target earnings of approximately £50,000 per annum. As Vehicle Service Manager, you will report directly to the Director and play a key role within our management team. We are seeking an experienced automotive professional who can lead an efficient, profitable and customer-focused aftersales operation.
