Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd in Sutton Coldfield is seeking an experienced Service Coordinator/Planner or Engineer Scheduler to join our service operation. You will plan and schedule work for Field Service Engineers in the automotive, plant or related industries and ensure efficient allocation of maintenance and repair jobs.

The role requires strong planning, scheduling and IT skills, the ability to communicate with engineers and customers, and the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience planning or coordinating Service Engineers in motor trade or related industries.
• Experience within automotive, plant or material handling industries.
• Strong planning, scheduling and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule daily workloads for Field Service Engineers.
• Allocate service, maintenance and repair jobs efficiently.
• Coordinate engineer availability and customer requirements.
• Keep customers updated on engineer attendance and job progress.
• Monitor outstanding work and rearrange schedules when priorities change.
• Liaise with engineers, customers and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate service records and job information.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Service Coordinator, Service Planner, Engineer Scheduler or Service Administrator in Sutton Coldfield. Applicants must have experience planning or coordinating Service Engineers within the motor trade, automotive, plant, material handling or a similar service-led industry, and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Sutton Coldfield

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
