Job summary

Confidential in Emsworth, Hampshire, is seeking a Service Coordinator to join the office team. The role handles inbound calls from domestic plumbing and heating customers, assessing needs such as emergency repairs, boiler installations, and bathroom fits, and coordinating engineers’ schedules.

You will work with two colleagues on administration and customer support, in a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm office setting, with parking on-site and good holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling, administration and customer support.
• Experience scheduling engineers, or within plumbing/heating industry, is desirable.
• Strong customer service skills with phone and email communication.
• Willing to work in the office and be based within commutable distance to Emsworth.

Responsibilities

We currently have an opportunity available to join the office team within a well-known and expanding plumbing and heating contractor based out of their offices in Emsworth.

Due to consistent growth, the office team are looking for a well-organised, friendly and vibrant personality to join their close-knit team and support with scheduling, administration and customer support.

Service Coordinator Job Overview

• Taking inbound calls from customers within the domestic plumbing and heating sector
• Evaluating their needs, which will be a mixture of emergency breakdown repair requests, new boiler installations, and new bathroom fit-outs
• Scheduling the engineers diaries, including job planning, route planning and ensuring that they have all the necessary parts to complete the jobs
• Working alongside two long-standing office team members to cover the administration side of the business and any other tasks that need carrying out

Service Coordinator Job Requirements

• A background within scheduling, administration and customer support, ideally from an engineer/maintenance company
• Any experience with scheduling engineers, or experience within the plumbing and heating industry will be highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills, confident in speaking over the phone and liaising with customers via email
• Based within a commutable distance of Emsworth and comfortable working in the office

Service Coordinator Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary 30,000 - 35,000, depending on experience
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• 1 hour lunch break
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
