Job summary

Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Service Coordinator in Emsworth to manage inbound calls, schedule engineers and coordinate parts for plumbing and heating projects. The role blends customer support with admin duties in a small team, with a Monday–Friday 8am–5pm schedule and an on-site working environment.

You will handle emergency repairs, boiler installations, and bathroom fit-outs, ensuring smooth diary management and customer liaison from first contact to job completion.

Qualifications

• Background in scheduling, administration and customer support.
• Experience scheduling engineers or in plumbing/heating industry desirable.
• Strong customer service and ability to liaise with customers by phone and email.
• Must live within commuting distance of Emsworth and be office-based.

Service Coordinator Job Overview

• Taking inbound calls from customers within the domestic plumbing and heating sector
• Evaluating their needs, which will be a mixture of emergency breakdown repair requests, new boiler installations, and new bathroom fit-outs
• Scheduling the engineers diaries, including job planning, route planning and ensuring that they have all the necessary parts to complete the jobs
• Working alongside two long-standing office team members to cover the administration side of the business and any other tasks that need carrying out

Service Coordinator Job Requirements

• A background within scheduling, administration and customer support, ideally from an engineer/maintenance company
• Any experience with scheduling engineers, or experience within the plumbing and heating industry will be highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills, confident in speaking over the phone and liaising with customers via email
• Based within a commutable distance of Emsworth and comfortable working in the office

Service Coordinator Salary & Benefits

• Basic salary £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience
• Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm
• 1 hour lunch break
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays
