Job summary

Veolia Group in Beighton is seeking a Transport Service Coordinator to manage daily service delivery, allocate work to vehicles and maintain driver and customer communications. You will conduct on-site safety checks and drive continuous improvement within transport compliance and quality standards.

The role demands strong IT skills, experience with ISO systems and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while coordinating with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Essential understanding of transport compliance and WTD.
• Good communication with drivers, customers and stakeholders.
• Ability to organise a busy workload and work at a fast pace.
• Experience with ISO quality management systems.
• Strong IT skills and adaptability to Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of service delivery and allocation of work to vehicles/routes.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders, providing status updates.
• Debrief front line staff and report actions or updates as required.
• Face-to-face engagement with drivers to address issues on route.
• Report safety concerns or container damage and stop the job if unsafe.
• Ensure Veolia on-site compliance with WTD, O-licence and transport rules.
