Job summary

Jago Consultants in Salisbury is recruiting for a Service Advisor to join a motor garage client in the Salisbury area. You will handle service and repair work, advise on costs, upsell products and keep customers informed throughout the process.

This role is 47.5 hours per week, 8:00–18:30 Monday to Friday with Saturdays on a rota. Basic salary £28,000 per year with uncapped bonus, OTE £34,000. Proven customer service skills and a full driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Some experience working as a Service Advisor within a motor garage.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles.
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken.
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs.
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements.
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system.
• Update customer and vehicle records.
• Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy.
• Prepare and complete invoices.

Service Advisor needed in the Salisbury area of Wiltshire.

We are working with a Motor Garage who are actively looking for a Service Advisor to join their friendly team. Dorchester area of Dorset.

Job Role – Motor Vehicle Service Advisor

Total hours per week: 47.5

Hours of work: 8:00 – 18:30 Monday to Friday and Saturdays on a rota basis will be required.

Basic: £28,000 per annum with uncapped bonus, OTE £34,000

Service Advisor Duties include:

• Ensuring customers are aware of service and repair work required to their vehicles in a professional manner
• Advise on estimated costs of repairs and work to be undertaken
• Sell additional products as appropriate to customers’ needs
• Advise on timescales and collection arrangements
• Produce job cards on in-house computer system
• Update customer and vehicle records
• Document all warranty work in accordance with manufacturer policy
• Preparation and completion of invoices

For this Service Advisor position you will have:

• Some experience working as a Service Advisor within a motor garage – can be either passenger cars / commercial / HGV / LCV environment
• Full driving licence

As a Service Advisor you will ensure the highest standard of courtesy and professionalism when interacting with customers and members of the public.

In particular my client is looking for some one with strong customer service skills who has excellent customer rapport and can deliver great CSI results, along with being confident with up-sell opportunities.
