Job summary

Yeomans Nissan Portsmouth is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join the Service Department. You will engage with customers, book vehicles into the workshop and coordinate with the workshop team to ensure timely completion, while maintaining high standards of service.

The role emphasises superb customer interaction, clear communication and the ability to handle telephone inquiries and basic IT tasks within a busy environment. Training and a supportive team are provided.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and customer-focused approach.
• Able to follow procedures in a busy environment.
• Experience with telephone communications and basic IT literacy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Booking vehicles into the technical workshop.
• Liaising with the workshop to track progress and ensure timely readiness.
• Providing exceptional customer service, including arranging onward travel.
• Updating customers while their vehicle is in the workshop and handing back the vehicle after service.
• Maintaining knowledge through manufacturer-led training.
• Adopting a professional approach to recommending repairs.
• Maintaining orderly administration and housekeeping.
