Job summary

Gateshead Nissan, part of the Lookers group, is recruiting a Service Advisor to join the Aftersales Team on site. You will be responsible for booking MOTs and services, advising on warranties, and liaising with the Aftersales department to schedule work.

The role requires strong communication and a proactive approach to delivering a first-class customer experience. Joining the busy dealership offers in-house training, potential progression, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
• Strong customer service orientation with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Able to work as part of a team and also use initiative.
• Ability to explain technical information in simple terms to customers.
• Experience with Kerridge or ADP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Book MOTs, services and other repair work for customers.
• Advise on warranty cover and upsell parts/accessories.
• Coordinate with Aftersales to schedule appointments based on workload.
• Handle a high-volume mix of customers daily, calls and online queries.
• Inform customers of turnaround times and maintain clear communication during repairs.
• Keep accurate customer records and update booking systems.
