Job summary

Arnold Clark Group in Dundee is seeking a Service Advisor to join our Vauxhall/Fiat/Abarth branch. You will deliver a first‑class service experience for service and repair customers, liaising with workshop teams and maintaining accurate records.

A customer‑facing role that rewards empathy, clear communication and upselling opportunities. The role requires a proactive communicator with IT literacy, strong organisational skills and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer‑facing role and a passion for service.
• Strong communication and computer literacy to handle bookings and records.
• Ability to multi‑task in a busy service environment and stay organised.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to follow defined processes.
• Good problem solving and empathetic customer handling.

Responsibilities

• Handle all service and vehicle repair requests efficiently and professionally.
• Liaise with the workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Control all computer-based jobs, purchasing and invoice processes.
• Inform customers of faults or repairs and provide clear, accurate solutions.
• Treat dissatisfied customers with empathy and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records and service histories.
• Upsell aftersales products where appropriate.
• Keep the customer database updated and accurate.
