Job summary

Silcom Recruitment Limited is assisting a premium used car dealer near Christchurch to recruit an experienced Service Advisor. You will meet customers, clarify service, MOT and repair requirements, and coordinate the day’s work with the workshop team.

The role emphasizes high standards of customer service, regular follow-up, upselling of service plans and parts, and timely invoicing. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with salary up to £25,000 plus bonus to reach around

• Experience in a motor trade or automotive service environment.
• Strong customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to upsell service plans and parts.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers and clarify service, MOT and/or repair requirements.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and provide personalised service.
• Upsell products and service plans; handle objections and record sales activity.
• Raise invoices for work done and ensure timely collection of vehicles.
• Order parts for workshop and allocate accordingly.

The Role:

Silcom Recruitment are delighted to be working with an established, premium used car dealer who seek an experienced motor trade service advisor to join their team.

With an established site based near Christchurch, our client offers an opportunity to join an experienced, friendly team and the stability in knowing you’ll join a business who have operated locally for over forty years.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

As a Service Advisor, you will meet & greet your customers & clarify their service, MOT and/or repair requirements

To manage your customers effectively throughout the day, maintaining regular contact and offer excellent, personalised levels of service

To up-sell products & service plans, handle objections and record sales activity

To raise invoices for work done & meet the customers' time deadlines for collection of their vehicles

Order the relevant parts for the workshop and allocate accordingly

Package:

Basic Salary up to £25,000 (experience dependent) + Bonus – Circa £27,500

Monday to Friday - 8:00am - 5:30pm
