Job summary

Hawkfield Recruitment Ltd. is assisting a prestige automotive dealer in Weybridge to recruit an experienced Service Advisor.

You will act as the main contact for customers through the servicing journey, liaise with the workshop, and provide accurate estimates while building strong customer relationships.

This role offers a competitive package with a basic salary up to £32,000 and OTE £40,000, Monday to Friday hours and no weekend work.

Qualifications

• Previous Service Advisor experience within the motor trade.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Confident dealing with customers face-to-face and over the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout their vehicle servicing and repair journey.
• Welcome customers into the dealership and discuss their servicing and repair requirements.
• Manage customer bookings, enquiries and service appointments.
• Liaise closely with Technicians and the Workshop team to ensure work is completed efficiently.
• Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicles throughout the day.
• Explain repair and maintenance requirements clearly and professionally.
• Provide accurate estimates for servicing, maintenance and repair work.
• Gain customer authorisation for additional work identified during inspections.
• Promote relevant Aftersales products and additional services.
• Ensure all customer and vehicle information is accurately recorded and updated on dealership systems.
• Prepare and process repair orders in accordance with dealership and manufacturer procedures.
• Ensure invoicing is completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Coordinate vehicle collection and delivery arrangements.
• Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Hawkfield Recruitment is working with a well-established automotive dealer group in Weybridge who are recruiting for an experienced Service Advisor to join their Aftersales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor looking to join a specialist prestige and performance dealership, offering a competitive salary package of up to £32,000 basic, £40,000 OTE, Monday-to-Friday working hours and no weekend working!

Our client represents an exciting automotive manufacturer with a strong reputation for engineering, performance and innovation. Working within a specialist dealership environment, you will be part of an experienced Aftersales team committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Service Advisor, you will play an important role in managing the customer journey throughout the Aftersales process, working closely with the workshop to ensure customers receive an excellent level of service from initial booking through to vehicle collection.

• Ensure warranty documentation is accurately completed and processed
• Maintain excellent levels of customer satisfaction and retention
• Work towards departmental customer service and sales targets
• Build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business

What We're Looking For:

• Previous Service Advisor experience within the motor trade
• Main dealer experience would be advantageous
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Confident dealing with customers both face-to-face and over the telephone
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy workload
• Good understanding of workshop processes and vehicle servicing requirements
• Commercial awareness and confidence promoting additional work and services
• Experience managing customer expectations and resolving queries professionally
• Ability to work effectively alongside Technicians and the wider Aftersales team
• Excellent attention to detail and a professional approach
