Perfect Placement are recruiting on behalf of our client for the role of Group Support Vehicle Service Advisor, a position that offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals within the automotive industry.

You will provide essential support across multiple dealership sites in Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire, ensuring seamless customer service, workshop coordination, and upselling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a Service Advisor in an automotive dealership or garage environment.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• Reside within a central location in Gloucestershire or Worcestershire.
• Flexibility to work across multiple dealership sites, including Saturdays when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers at the Service Department and book vehicles into the workshop.
• Coordinate with the workshop team to monitor work progress and communicate updates to customers.
• Upsell additional products and services to maximise customer satisfaction.
• Process payments accurately and efficiently for work carried out.
• Support other Service Advisors across multiple sites as required.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and a positive service experience.

The successful individual will provide essential support across multiple dealership sites within Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, and Worcestershire, ensuring seamless customer service and operational efficiency.

• Competitive starting salary up to £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Duties of a Service Advisor:

• Meet and greet customers at the Service Department and book vehicles into the workshop
• Coordinate with the workshop team to monitor work progress and communicate updates to customers
• Upsell additional products and services where appropriate to maximise customer satisfaction
• Process payments accurately and efficiently for work carried out
• Support other Service Advisors across multiple dealership sites as required, stepping in during periods of absence or high workload
• Maintain high levels of customer service, ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process
• Assist with warranty authorisation and liaise with manufacturers concerning warranty and repair procedures (advantageous but not essential)
• Ensure all customer interactions are professional, efficient, and satisfaction-driven

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years recent, stable experience as a Service Advisor within an automotive dealership or garage environment
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
• Reside within a central location in Gloucestershire or Worcestershire
• Flexibility to work across multiple dealership sites, including occasional Saturdays when necessary
• Strong organisational skills and IT proficiency; experience with Kerridge dealer management system is advantageous but not essential
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction
• Passion for the automotive industry and working with manufacturer standards
