Job summary

A trusted main dealership in Leicester is looking for an experienced Service Advisor. You will greet customers, identify needs, book bookings, and oversee the journey from intake to collection, ensuring a positive service experience.

The role offers a £29,500 base salary with an uncapped OTE exceeding £38,000, plus a performance-related bonus, 24 days leave, life cover, staff discounts and ongoing manufacturer training to support your career progression.

Qualifications

• Previous main dealer Service Advisor experience is essential.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are required.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage a busy workload.
• Positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
• Confident in using dealership computer systems and administrative processes.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and identify servicing and repair needs.
• Book vehicles into the workshop and manage the customer journey from intake to vehicle collection.
• Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
• Explain required work, prepare quotations, and obtain authorisation.
• Liaise with Workshop Controllers and Vehicle Technicians to ensure smooth workflow.
• Process service documentation accurately and maintain records.
• Promote additional products and services where appropriate.
• Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.

Duties of a Service Advisor
